Peeps Oreos Are Now on Shelves For Easter

Ever since Oreo started ripping off tons of new, random flavors, some have been incredible and some have been unholy affronts to God himself.  And their latest, well, I think it falls into that second category.   Because just in time for Easter, PEEPS OREOS have hit the shelves.  They use vanilla Oreo cookies, plus a, “marshmallow Peeps flavor cream.”  And that cream is PINK, which is festive but looks pretty unappetizing.   The Peeps Oreos are on sale right now at Walmart and they should be available for the next few months.   (Here’s a picture of the package.)

A Guy Sacrificed His $70,000 Tesla to Save Someone’s Life

A 41-year-old guy in Germany named Manfred Kick was driving his Tesla on the Autobahn Monday night.  And another car started swerving around, and bouncing off the guardrail.   The other driver was a 47-year-old guy who’d lost consciousness.  Apparently he had a stroke.  Manfred pulled up next to him, and could see him slumped over in his seat.  So he got on the phone and called it in.  But he knew someone needed to stop the guy’s car immediately.   So even though he was in a $70,000 Tesla, he passed him on the right, pulled in front of

Monopoly Fans Have Voted the Thimble Out of the Game

Another piece of random nostalgia has died an unceremonious death.  Hasbro just announced that Monopoly fans have spoken, and the THIMBLE game piece has been voted out.  It’s been one of the tokens since the game debuted in 1935.   Hasbro has been running a vote where people will pick a new game piece from choices like sunglasses, a penguin, a hashtag, and four different emoji faces.   And to make room, one of the originals had to go.  The thimble lost, and we’ll find out what’s replacing it next month.  The thimble is the second “domestic” item to be

A Guy Shot Himself While Making a Bullet Necklace for Valentine’s Day

Did you have a hard time finding something to buy for Valentine’s Day this year?  You still did better than this dude.  A 50-year-old guy in Toronto was trying to make a necklace out of a BULLET on Tuesday.  Which is just what every girl wants.  (???)   Unfortunately, he wasn’t careful enough while he was pulling it apart with vice grips.  So the bullet EXPLODED, and he accidentally shot himself in the leg.   The bullet and some of the casing fragments ended up in his thigh.  He had to have surgery to remove them, but he should be

Lucky Charms and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Oatmeal Are Now Things That Exist

If you claimed that you were moving to Canada after the election but you were just bluffing, well here’s a BETTER reason for you to make the move.   Cinnamon Toast Crunch OATMEAL and Lucky Charms OATMEAL have been spotted on shelves in Canada.  I would eat those every day for the rest of my life.   But General Mills says they aren’t planning to release them here in the United States, so if you want them, get your passport ready.   (Here are photos.)   SPOTTED ON SHELVES IN CANADA: Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Lucky Charms Instant Oatmeal https://t.co/1mAAsaFlCs pic.twitter.com/XKDFeO49hr

A Guy Bills a Woman For Half the Cost of Their First Date When She Turns Down a Second Date

I’m really torn between whether the guy in this story is comically cheap, or a hero.  A 38-year-old woman named Lucy Brown from London met a guy on Plenty of Fish last week and they went on a date to a bar.  But when he contacted her about a second date, she said she wasn’t really interested.   So the guy sent her a long text message, asking her to pay him $53 for her half of their first date.  “I really [liked] you and saved up some money to take you on a nice date.  As it didn’t work

A Truck Caught Fire in a Drive-Thru

Someone’s truck caught fire at a Jack in the Box drive-thru near Dallas Saturday night, and the fire was about to spread to the building.  But a cop showed up just in time, and started ramming it with his car until it rolled into the parking lot.   (Check out “Glenn Heights PD – Jack in the Box Fire.”  He rams it at 1:19.)

A Kid Bought 625 Roses, and Gave One to Every Girl in School

This kid officially won Valentine’s Day this year.  Zack Peterson is a high school senior in Holmen, Wisconsin, just north of La Crosse.  And he showed up on Tuesday with 625 long-stem roses, so he could give one to every girl in school.   All of the girls lined up in one of the hallways to get a rose from him, and he got a LOT of hugs in return.  Some of them even CRIED.   He wanted it to be a surprise, so he didn’t even tell his sister, who’s a sophomore.  He used a bunch of air fresheners

A Guy’s Pet Squirrel Attacked a Burglar

A guy in Boise, Idaho named Adam Pearl came home on Tuesday and realized someone had broken into his place.  There were footprints in the snow outside his door, and a bunch of scratch marks around the lock on his gun safe.  So he knew someone had been there.   The guy who broke in didn’t get the safe open though, and only took a few things from the house.  He could have stolen more, so it was weird.  But one of the cops figured out why when they caught him a few hours later.   They noticed he had

The Six Most Common Weight Loss Mistakes

Someone asked a nutritionist to list the most common mistakes we make when we’re trying to lose weight.   Here are the top six.   1.  Buying low-fat versions of everything.  They usually add more salt and sugar to make them taste good, so it doesn’t really help that much.   2.  Only doing cardio, and not lifting weights.  Adding muscle is what kick-starts your metabolism.  So you should really do both.   3.  Not getting enough sleep.  You’re more likely to gain weight if you get less than six hours a night.  Seven or eight hours is ideal.
